Step-By-Step Participation Guide
1. Get to know the project and the cause. Many options are offered to you :
- Read the Synopsis
- Listen to the Soundtrack
- Read the Chapters
- Consult the FAQ
- Watch the Calling All Artists ! / Stop The Tar Sands ! Video
- Visit the Submission Drop to see what has been submitted thus far
2. Create a piece of art, or select one of your own existing piece that you feel is suitable for the project. Here are some suggestions :
- Music and Sounds : recordings of the soundtrack (MIDI and Sonar Project files are available on demand), alternate versions, elaborations, remixes, mash-ups, sounds effects, soundscapes
- Videos : short films, single scenes, complete chapters
- Images : your take on the super-rabbits (the more the better), logos for the project, storyboards, movie posters, sketches of particular scenes, sketches of story elements (ex.: the spacecrafts, the underground farm, crop circles, and the likes)
- Words : poetry, elaborations, spin-offs, background stories
- Propaganda : anti dirty fuels material, anti tar sands material, pro renewable energy material
The above are only suggestions. You can submit any materiel that you consider suitable as long as the guidelines are met.
3. Contact me to get the uploader address. This step is a security measure to avoid spam and junk being added to the Submission Drop.
4. Use the uploader to send your material into the Submission Drop :
- Use the Files tab to upload files such as mp3s and images
- Use the Note tab to describe your work
- Use the Links tab to link to your website. Linking rule : one submission = one link.
Check the drop to make sure that the operation has been successful.
5. Spread your work and link back : the aim is to raise public awareness, so the more links the better. Each of your social networks can be put to contribution, so be generous in your linking. Please see the Linking Back page for some examples and linking code.
